Old Bedford Village

Our next driving break took place at the Old Bedford Village. This is a really neat village made up of actual buildings from the 1700’s and 1800’s. Unfortunately, we didn’t get there until 3:45PM, and they closed at 5PM. Since we got there so late, there was hardly anybody else there – and some of the people who worked there seemed ready to get out of there. But the ones who acted their roles were very nice. Apparently, their business is much better on the weekends, when they do big reenactments. They were gearing up for a big cowboy themed event for Saturday, and some of the prep work had already begun. We still had a fun time. And they made some really yummy cookies there.
